We are elated to present the second edition of Africanism Today. After the maiden edition, we carried out a survey on which aspect of the African culture we should focus on because the aim of Africanism Today is to celebrate different aspects of our rich African culture. A whooping 70% of the response was “African Food”.
For this edition, we are partnering with the Nigerian Association of Psychology Students, Unilag chapter. Two great bodies coming together to celebrate the African food. The reason we collaborate with students organisations mostly is because our focus are African youth, who can be best described as the flag bearers of this great continent.
The aim of this edition is to showcase, educate, celebrate, promote the African culture through food. Food is an important part of our lives and tradition. We want to show ourselves and the world that African food is world class, nutritious, delicious and amazing. From the image above you can see all the wonderful things we have lined up. The tag to use on social media for this event is #AfricanFoodFest
